Wal-fare

WAL-MART doesn’t want to pay its employees wages sufficient to allow them to support themselves. No problem, 100% American, pro-Free Market Wal-Mart merely shifts its labor costs to the taxpayer!

Wal-Mart workers are paid so little that even working they qualify for welfare. In some stores 80% of Wal-Mart employees are on Food Stamps.

Annually, the taxpayer pays $ 2.6 BILLION to subsidize Wal-Mart employees thus enabling Wal-Mart to avoid paying living wages. This averages $ 420,000 per store.

Is this really welfare for people or just another corporate subsidy?
