Although John Boehner says that Obamacare is a done deal; Rick Scott, Republican Governor, says that he refuses to implement the law in Florida.
Now this is the way it goes: the House and the Senate passed the law, the President signed it, the Supreme Court conducted a judicial review and determined it constitutional. The Obama healthcare reform fulfilled all constitutional requirements.
The Constitution holds that upon fulfillment of said requirements, Federal statutes become the law of the land. Nowhere in the Constitution is there a provision granting State Governors a veto nor the discretion to pick and choose as to what laws to enforce. At one time eleven Southern States thought they could make their own law separate from the majority of the Nation. It took a Civil War to persuade them differently but they lost. If Rick Scott wants another war, it is only right to give it to him.
