Cotton Candy Money*

The world’s market for derivatives is valued at $ 1000 TRILLION  (not an error, ONE-THOUSAND TRILLION DOLLARS). This isn’t taxed at all by any country. The American share of this market is conservatively estimated to be $ 200 TRILLION.

A modest tax of two pennies per dollar would produce $ 4 TRILLION in revenues, enough to pay off the entire debt within four years.

It’s so simple, why don’t we do it?

Because that’s SuperRich people’s money. We tax working people, we even tax poor people, and we’ll even tax ordinary rich people a little but we don’t tax the Super-Munificent Wealthy.
