Corporate Criminals: Making, Breaking & Faking

According to the CORPORATE CRIME REPORTER, which conducted a study of Corporations convicted of criminal offenses and Corporations making political contributions from 1989 to 2000, 90% of the Criminal Corporations were Republican Corporations.

The Biggest Corporate criminals were Honeywell, Lockheed, Blue Cross, Boeing, GE, Northrop, Raytheon, Exxon and, of course, the nefarious Koch Brothers.

One might think that a smart Democratic President would put the enemy in his crosshairs with a few choice prosecutions. No, if anything the Obama administration falls over itself attempting to placate the Corporate bastards. The Obama Justice Department chooses to offer Corporate Criminals “deferred prosecution”, that is, the deferral of prosecution in return for a promise to be good. Imagine how happy a street punk would be if prosecutors would simply ask for a promise to be good? Steal $ 50 and you get a year in jail, steal $ 50 BILLION and they ask you to promise not to do it again.

No surprise though, Obama’s top cop, Attorney General Eric Holder came from the blueribbon law firm Covington & Burling. How does Covington & Burling make its dough? Defending Corporate Criminals, duh? And where will Holder go after his gig in Washington is over? Back to Covington & Burling! Can’t be remembered prosecuting one’s clients, it’s not good for business.
