Cholera in Haiti

Prior to October 2010 there had not been a cholera case in Haiti for half of a century. In that month UN troops arrived from Nepal after being exposed to Cholera in that country. Since then over 670,000 Haitians have taken ill with Cholera and almost a thousand have died.

Yet to date, the UN has not acknowledged its responsibility, has not apologized and has not provided medical care or related assistance to deal with the outbreak.
