Warehouse Workers for Justice


Warehouse Workers for Justice (WWJ) is in the forefront of the fight for justice in Walmart’s supply chain in the Chicago region. Through direct and legal action, WWJ has recovered over $1 million in stolen wages and benefits, improved safety conditions, helped eliminate sub-minimum wage piece rate pay and raise starting wages to $11 an hour in Walmart’s largest distribution center. At a Walmart warehouse in Hammond, IN, WWJ helped workers win a wage increase and prevented mass firing when the temp agencies at the warehouse changed.
